Ingredients:
- 500 grams of lady's finger (okra)
- 1 tbsp of red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp of coriander powder
- 1 tbsp of cumin powder
- 2 tbsp of dry mango powder (Amchoor powder)
- 1 tsp of turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp of oil
- 4 medium sized onions, finely chopped
- Wash & dry tender lady's finger.Cut the head & slit open halfway through lady's finger.
- For the filling: In a bowl mix red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
- Stuff mixture in the lady's finger & set the nonstick pan on medium heat.
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add onions and cook for half a minute. Add stuffed lady's finger and mix well. Cover the pan with lid and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Add the rest of the dry masala when lady's finger are almost cooked.
